贺新光,博士,二级教授,博士生导师,全国优秀博士学位论文提名论文获得者,主要研究方向是水文气象多尺度问题建模与分析、地理时空大数据挖掘与应用。博士学位论文被评为“2006年中国农业大学校级‘十佳’优秀博士学位论文”,并入选“2008年全国177篇优秀博士学位论文提名论文”。先后主持国家自然科学基金两项、省部级基金4项,获湖南省自然科学奖二等奖1项,已发表学术论文六十多篇,其中SCI收录论文40余篇。招收地图学与地理信息系统专业的硕博士生和自然地理学专业的硕士生。
